It is increasingly looking like Joseph Paintsil (26) played his last match at KRC Genk on Sunday in Mechelen. The Ghanaian attacker, who was also suspended against RWDM on Saturday, is close to a transfer to LA Galaxy. Paintsil was missing from training at KRC Genk on Tuesday afternoon, although that was also due to illness. He had reported to the club with sinusitis.

Mujaid Sadick also reported sick (stomach flu), while Yira Sor is doing better. The Nigerian attacker is recovering from a muscle injury but endured an intensive individual training session with head physiotherapist Jan Theunis.

There were about 70 supporters at the open training on Tuesday afternoon. On Tuesday evening, 850 fans are expected at the fan day in Plopsa Indoor.
