Kasper Dolberg was back in the starting line-up for Anderlecht after a week of sitting on the bench. The Dane was also at the helm again, scoring a goal for the first time since December 1 (!) in the Jupiler Pro League. “It was frustrating not to score. But I am happy that it has now succeeded,” said the Dane.

It was not the happiest Kasper Dolberg who stood in the mixed zone in Charleroi. Brought home three points, scored a goal, but still. “It wasn’t good enough today. We let them get into the match themselves,” said Dolberg.

Dolberg put Anderlecht at 0-2 after half an hour, at that moment somewhat against the flow of the game. “I start every match with the same thought, that I want to score. And it was frustrating that it didn’t happen. I should have done better, and I know I can. That’s why it was nice to score today.”

Last week against Ghent, Dolberg started on the bench. Now he took his place again, at the expense of Luis Vazquez. “He deserved to start. Every time he comes on, he gives it his all. Of course, I always want to play everything, but I understood the coach’s decision. I was aware of the situation, that’s how it works in football. We are lucky to have Vazquez in our team, we both do our best and push each other to a better level.”
