CHALLENGER PRO LEAGUE. Seraing scores points against Lommel, Patro Eisden records a narrow victory at Jong Genk

Seraing scored a point against Lommel on Friday evening on the fifteenth matchday in the Challenger Pro League. The score was 2-2 in the Stade du Pairay.

In a promising first half, Lucas Schoofs headed Lommel into the lead after nineteen minutes. Seraing came alongside on the half hour via Maïdine Douane (31”). In the second half, the visitors from Limburg took the lead again thanks to a nice header goal by Sales, but Seraing did not give up.

Soumah-Abbad (73”) put the 2-2 on the board before the final quarter.

Both teams then had opportunities to take control, but ultimately had to settle for a division of points.

After the draw, Seraing is currently bottom of the table. It is currently penultimate with fourteen points. Francs Borains, who will face FC Liège on Sunday, is last with thirteen points. Lommel is currently in sixth place with 22 points.

At the same time, Patro Eisden won with the smallest difference against Jong Genk. Kevin Kis (42”) broke the spell for Patro Eisden from the spot a few minutes before half-time, which immediately marked the final score.

Jong Genk was unable to correct the lopsided situation in the second half.

Patro Eisden is currently in third place with 25 points. Jong Genk is just above the relegation zone with fifteen points, together with KV Oostende and SL 16, both of which will be in action this weekend.
