He had offers in Germany and Italy, but success coach Miron Muslic will stay at Cercle Brugge for one more year

Success coach Miron Muslic will remain at Cercle Brugge until 2025. Last week it was leaked that Muslic had offers from Germany and Italy, but was close to a contract extension with Cercle. The final details were completed before the weekend and the Bosnian Austrian has now signed a contract for 1 year.

Muslic joined Cercle in 2021 as assistant to Yves Vanderhaeghe. He subsequently worked under Dominik Thalhammer and succeeded him in September 2022. Muslic refined the press and guided Cercle from last to sixth place. Despite the departure of Majecki, Marcelin, Hotic, Vanhoutte, Deman and Ueda, Muslic is now continuing that trend and managed to put Cercle in fourth place after the first round. A great achievement that earned him a lot of respect everywhere.

Austrian, German and Italian clubs were eyeing Muslic, who, however, is having a great time in Bruges and at Cercle and believes that his work is not yet finished. He also thinks he can make progress with the young team. They also share this opinion in Bruges and Monaco and both parties therefore decided to continue working together for another year. (kv)
