VIDEO. Toumani Camara impresses with powerful dunk and athleticism in NBA, but falls again with Portland


Portland Trail Blazers suffered a heavy home defeat against Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA on Sunday: 91-134. Our compatriot Toumani Camara stole the show with some great moves.


The Blazers lost 91-134 at their own Moda Center, their tenth loss in thirteen games this season. This time, Brussels player Toumani Camara had to settle for fifteen minutes of play, in which he did not get further than six points and two rebounds. The Blazers’ top scorer was Jerami Grant with just fourteen points. On the other side, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander took the leading role with 28 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds. Chet Holmgren scored 16 points and the OKC Thunder cruised to a smooth and easy victory.

In the Western Conference, Portland Trail Blazers has fallen to fourteenth and penultimate place. OKC Thunder recorded its tenth win of the season and moves into second place, just behind the Minnesota Timberwolves.

LeBron propels Lakers to victory

The Boston Celtics are currently the best performing team in the NBA in the Eastern Conference. The Celtics narrowly won 100-102 at the Memphis Grizzlies, their eleventh win of the season and the sixth in a row. On the other hand, there are only two defeats. Kristaps Porzingis was the star with 26 points and 8 rebounds. Philadelphia, the provisional number 2 in the East, could count on Joel Embiid’s punches. The Cameroonian scored 32 points, 12 rebounds and 9 assists.

In the Western Conference, LeBron James was the big man for the LA Lakers. He decided the match at home against Houston on a free throw and scored a total of 37 points.
