VIDEO. Attentive stadium announcer warns spectator during Dutch match: “And it will rain soon”

In the Dutch second division, football was played as usual on Sunday regardless of the international break. Cambuur and Roda JC met in a match that ultimately ended in a 1-1 draw. The highlight was not the division of points or the goals, but a sudden announcement from the stadium speaker.

“There is a car in the parking lot with the roof open,” it suddenly sounded through the Cambuur Stadium in Leeuwarden. “And it’s going to rain soon,” the announcer hoped to warn the owner in question. “That’s not convenient,” said one of the match commentators.

Roda JC Kerkrade is currently second in the Kitchen Champion Division, three points behind leader Willem II. You know, Peter Maes’ new team. Cambuur, on the other hand, dropped out of the Eredivisie last season, is in sixth place with 24 units.
