The second phase of ticket sales for next summer’s European Football Championship in Germany starts on December 4, two days after the draw for the groups in Hamburg. The German Football Association confirmed this on Monday.
One million tickets will be offered to supporters of the 21 teams, including Belgium, that have been placed. Next year, a new round will be organized for fans of the last three countries that qualify through the play-offs.
The first sales phase was already a great success. With more than twenty million requests for 1.2 million tickets, demand far exceeded supply. The lucky ones were selected by drawing lots. At that time, only the dates and host cities of host country Germany were known.
Tickets cost between 30 euros for a group match to 1,000 euros for the most expensive ticket for the final.
The European Championship will be played from June 14 to July 14.
