On the hour mark, Brazilian Bremer made the Juventus supporters cheer for the first time with a header, and ten minutes later fellow defender Daniele Rugani unorthodoxly worked a corner over the line for the comfortable 2-0. Cagliari created tension fifteen minutes before the end: Alberto Dossena headed Jakub Jankto’s corner past Juve goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny. In the end it remained 2-1 and Juventus is virtual leader. At Juve, Joseph Nonge Boende was in the selection for the fourth game in a row, but Massimiliano Allegri did not grant the 18-year-old Belgian his debut in the main squad for the time being.
AC Milan gives away double lead
Earlier Saturday, AC Milan gave away a double lead at Lecce (2-2). Olivier Giroud and Tijjani Reijnders put the Milanese on fire before the break, but Nicola Sansone and Lameck Banda brought Lecce back within four minutes. In the end, Giroud received two yellow cards in a row after persistent bleating.
