Antwerp Giants wins a charged game against Liège, Limburg United remains undefeated

On the sixth matchday in the BNXT League, the Belgian-Dutch basketball competition, Antwerp Giants won the charged game against Liège 81-71 on Saturday evening.

The people of Liège threatened earlier this month not to play the match, but they eventually withdrew their complaint. Jean-Marc Mwema guided the home team to victory with eighteen points. That was the fourth of the season for the Antwerp team, who have recorded one defeat so far.

Leader Limburg United was also unable to make a mistake when visiting Aalst, although this time it was very close: 82-83, thanks in part to 29 points from Jonas Delalieux. The Limburgers have five victories from as many matches. Aalst, like Bergen, has not yet been able to win this season.

Kangaroos Mechelen kept the points at home against PhD student Kortrijk with a 102-74 victory. Leuven could not keep Ostend from a fourth victory of the season: 91-75.
