He has not yet forgotten how to score: Cristiano Ronaldo (38) scored his first goal in the Asian equivalent of the UEFA Champions League on matchday two of the group stage of the Asian Champions League. His club Al Nassr eventually defeated Istiklol Dushanbe from Tajikistan 3-1.
The Portuguese legend is the record holder for the number of goals scored in the Champions League. CR7 managed to score 140 times in the world’s largest club competition.
And now he has also opened his account in the Asian Champions League. The visitors from Istiklol opened the scoring, but in the 66th minute Cristiano Ronaldo scored the equalizer, ten minutes later Talisca had added two more goals.
Al Nassr also won the first match on the Persepolis field (0-2), but the Portuguese did not score. Al Nassr is in the lead in his group.
