Antwerp TOPdesk, number 2 in the world, has qualified for the quarter-finals of the 3X3 Challenger in Samobor, Croatia. Today (6:05 PM) the Antwerp team will compete against Vienna, Austria, for a place in the semi-finals. The top 3 have been placed for the 3X3 World Tour in Wuxi, China.
The first match in group B and in the Croatian Samobor resulted in a 20-21 defeat for Antwerp TOPdesk against the Croatian Zagreb after an exciting match. Jonas Foerts scored 9, Dennis Donkor 8 and Bryan De Valck 5 points.
The second match was another thriller. Antwerp TOPdesk won against Lithuanian Marijampole Mantiga (FIBA 22) 15-13. Jonas Foerts was top scorer with 8 points. Dennis Donkor scored 3 and Bryan De Valck 4 points.
