PSG says goodbye to coach Christophe Galtier: successor Luis Enrique will be presented today

A new trainer change at the French superpower is urgent. Christophe Galtier officially received his C4 today. It is expected that his successor Luis Enrique will be presented this afternoon.

Christophe Galtier (56), who was arrested on Friday morning on suspicion of racism, is no longer the coach of the French top club Paris Saint-Germain. After the new failure in the Champions League – in which they were eliminated by Bayern Munich in the round of 16 without a chance – and a title that was narrower than expected, this dismissal had been coming for some time. The club from the French capital and the former coach of Nice, among others, are separating by mutual agreement. It will not make Galtier poorer: the lawyers negotiated a severance payment of around ten million euros.

Meanwhile, the French top club announced a press conference this afternoon at 2 pm. It is expected that Luis Enrique (53) – ex-coach of Barcelona and the Spanish national team – will be introduced.
