David Goffin immediately eliminated from the main draw of the ATP tournament in Rosmalen

David Goffin (ATP 126) was unable to qualify for the second round (eighth finals) of the ATP250 tournament in Rosmalen (grass/673,630 euros) in the Netherlands on Tuesday.

Goffin lost in the first round against Kazakh Alexander Bublik (ATP 47) 7-5 twice. The game lasted 1 hour and 38 minutes. The 32-year-old from Liège first had to go through two qualifying rounds in the Netherlands to reach the main draw. In the mutual meetings with Bublik it was 2-0 in favor of the Belgian, but he could not win the third game. Goffin was the only Belgian who took action in Rosmalen.

Bublik will meet Italian second seed Jannik Sinner (ATP 9) in the second round. Top seed in the South Netherlands is the Russian number three in the world Daniil Medvedev.
