VIDEO. BBC grabs its hair and apologizes for “use of language” by West Ham star Declan Rice during broadcast

It was a party in London on Thursday. West Ham’s players won the Conference League this week and were paraded through the city. Goldcrest Declan Rice was allowed to come and explain it on the balcony and let herself go completely. So much so that the BBC found it necessary to apologize twice “for the English midfielder’s use of language”.

“I’ve played with all my heart for this club for the past six years,” said Rice after winning the final, who was later named Player of the Season in the Conference League. “I would give anything to help this club win. We haven’t had it easy. We faced relegation. To win this now, I don’t want to say too much. Then I get too excited.”

As captain and metronome in midfield, Rice has been instrumental in West Ham’s cup triumph this season. The England international is the first captain to win a European trophy with The Hammers since Bobby Moore in 1965. West Ham chairman David Sullivan announced earlier today that Rice will be leaving the club this summer. According to various English media, the midfielder enjoys interest from Arsenal, Manchester United and Bayern Munich, among others. The London club would aim for an amount of at least 100 million.
