Frank de Boer has a job at Al Jazira again almost two years after the Orange

Frank de Boer continues his coaching career in the United Arab Emirates. The 53-year-old Dutchman reached an agreement with Al Jazira, where he succeeds his compatriot Marcel Keizer. Last week, Alfred Schreuder, former trainer of Club Brugge and Ajax, already announced that he would go to the United Arab Emirates. He will be coach of Al Ain.

For De Boer it is his first job as a trainer after he left as national coach of the Dutch national team just under two years ago. That happened two days after the elimination against the Czech Republic in the eighth finals of the European Championship.

As a trainer of Ajax, De Boer had more success. From 2011 to 2014 he gave the team from Amsterdam four national titles in a row. The 112-time international was then a trainer of Inter Milan, Crystal Palace and Atlanta United. De Boer was quickly fired from those clubs.

De Boer will start at his new club on July 1, where he signed a two-year contract. Al Jazira now has five Dutch head coaches in a row. Jurgen Streppel, Damien Hertog and Henk ten Cate had final responsibility for De Boer and Keizer.
