Antwerp figurehead Paul Bistiaux praises the working method of Paul Gheysens and co: “The club has become a well-oiled machine that does not panic”

Paul Bistiaux (71) was six years old when Royal Antwerp FC, the club to which he lost his heart and to which he would also devote a large part of his professional life, won the national championship for the last time. During his career on the Bosuil between 1979 and 2015, the Great Old experienced both glorious days and deep misery. The fact that Antwerp has another chance at the title today is partly thanks to him. We say that, because he himself does not flaunt it.
