Lierse has a replacement for Leonardo Rocha. The Pallieters caught 27-year-old Obbi Oulare, who comes over from champion RWDM. Oulare is again injury-free and wants to relaunch his career at the Lisp.

Obbi Oulare is a youth product of Club Brugge. He played 39 games for the reigning national champion and scored nine goals. In September 2015, he moved to the Premier League and signed a five-year contract with Watford. Loans to Zulte Waregem, Standard and Antwerp followed.

In July 2021 he moved to the English second division club Barnsley, which loaned him to RWDM. His period at the Brussels club was marked by frequent injuries. A serious knee injury sidelined him for months. Oulare has been match fit since January of this year. This is how he celebrated his return to the Kiel against Beerschot. More due to a dispute with owner John Texor, he got little time to play in Molenbeek. Obbi Oulare will wear number 56 in Lier.
