Good news for the Dutch national champion. Coach Arne Slot (44) will stay with Feyenoord. That reports Football International Thursday morning.

Slot is wild on the trainer market. The Dutchman was the top candidate at Tottenham, but ignores the Premier League. He says he himself has never negotiated with the Spurs. “I have heard a lot about the interest of other clubs in me,” said Slot. “I am grateful for the appreciation that this expresses, but my wish is to stay with Feyenoord. There are no transfer talks going on, there haven’t been any. Yesterday’s discussion (Wednesday, ed.) was only about a possible extension.”

Slot is now entering the Champions League with Feyenoord after another top year. This season, the team from Rotterdam won the national title, last season they played the final of the Conference League. “We want to build on the foundation that has been laid over the past two seasons. I look forward to the new season at Feyenoord.” Slot has been working at Feyenoord since 2021, he started his coaching career at AZ.
