Three masked men entered the house of Valencia player Justin Kluivert (24) on Wednesday evening and made off with jewelry worth around 200,000, the Spanish Marca reported. Kluivert’s wife was at home at the time and had to take a few hard blows. Kluivert himself was in Mallorca for this evening’s league game.

The three robbers would have entered the house through the garden when Kluivert’s wife came home after walking the dog. They threatened and beat her so that she would tell where the valuables were in the house. The robbery would not have lasted longer than five minutes. She is said to have sustained minor injuries, but is particularly impressed by what happened.

The Spanish police suspect an organized gang of the facts. In 2022, Samu Castillejo, Kluivert’s teammate at Valencia and, like Kluivert, living in the residential area of Bétera, was burglarized. There was no one in the house at the time.
