Zulte Waregem is working on next season. It seems that Frederik D’Hollander (46) may stay on as T1, with Davy De fauw (41) as assistant.

There has been a lot of internal discussion at Zulte Waregem in recent weeks: should the club continue with Frederik D’Hollander or not? The coach could not guarantee retention, but the players were satisfied with his approach. In the end, the latter was the deciding factor: Essevee intends to give D’Hollander confidence in the second division, with Davy De fauw as assistant. Talks are underway and an agreement is expected soon.

As far as the players are concerned, Zulte Waregem will not simply accept the departure of Jelle Vossen (34) and Ruud Vormer (35). The strong holders are out of contract and had already indicated that they do not want to play in the Challenger Pro League, but Zulte Waregem wants to convince the players to stay on board. That does not seem to be an impossible mission, although a lot will of course depend on any other interest for Vormer and Vossen.

Alieu Fadera (21) will leave Essevee anyway – there is a lot of interest in him, including from Club and Genk. But it is also the intention to keep the better players, because at the Gaverbeek they want to be promoted immediately.
