Arsenal sees title dream splash apart after painful home defeat against Brighton, Deniz Undav (ex-Union) makes the verdict with goal

A first title in twenty years is suddenly very far away for Arsenal. To keep their title ambitions intact, the Gunners had to win at home against Brighton, but they did not succeed. It even suffered a painful defeat with 0-3. Leandro Trossard already came in in the first half, but went down with it.

Both teams kept pace for a long time, but early in the second half Arsenal had to fold. Julio Enciso gave Brighton the lead with a striking header.

The Gunners went looking for the equalizer, but were never really able to make a fist. In the end of the game Deniz Undav (ex-Union) sealed the fate of the team of substitute Leandro Trossard. Signal for the supporters to leave the stadium. Deep into injury time it finally became 0-3. (Read more below the videos)

The national title could hardly escape Manchester City. Pep Guardiola’s boys have a four-point lead and even have a game in hand. If the Citizens beat Chelsea next Sunday, the title is a fact. If Arsenal lose to Nottingham Forest the day before, Kevin de Bruyne and co. even a day earlier to the champagne.
