Philadelphia and Denver are on a Conference Finals win

Philadelphia and Denver advanced to the NBA Conference Finals tonight. The Sixers beat Boston 103-115, the Nuggets beat Phoenix 118-102. Both teams lead in the standings of the confrontations with 3-2 and are on a victory of placement.

James Harden had guided Philadelphia to a victory in extra time on Sunday, Joel Embiid was the celebrated man on Tuesday. The regular season MVP led his team by the hand with 33 points. Tyrese Maxey (30 pts) was an excellent lieutenant. Three more players finished in double points. Harden was also important again with a double-double (17 pts and 10 assists).

Philadelphia can finish it on Thursday at home and advance to the final of the Eastern Conference play-offs.

In the west, Denver took on Phoenix. Two-time MVP Nikola Jokic was once again good for a triple-double (29 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists). The Serb escaped suspension after an altercation with Phoenix owner Mat Ishbia on Sunday. Devin Booker’s 28 points weren’t enough for the Suns.

The Nuggets can also finish it on Thursday. They have to win again at Phoenix.

In the other two semifinals, the decision can be made on Wednesday. Both the LA Lakers and Miami Heat are leading 3-1 against champions Golden State and the New York Knicks, respectively. Whoever wins four times first, pushes through.
