In the Footprint Center, former MVP Nikola Jokic scored 53 points, 11 assists and 4 rebounds for the visitors from Denver, but even that was not enough for the victory. After all, the Phoenix Suns has a deadly tandem in the ranks with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. They both scored 36 points to tie the score at 2-2. Both clubs won their home games twice. Whoever wins four times first will continue in this one best of seven.

The fact that nerves are running high was also apparent from a quarrel just before the break between Jokic and none other than Suns owner Mat Ishbia. When the latter Jokic did not want to return the ball quickly enough to take a quick throw-in, the Serbian pushed him, after which he received a technical foul. “I thought the NBA was supposed to protect its players, but maybe I’m wrong?” Jokic fulminated afterwards. “Anyone sitting off the pitch is a fan and should not interfere with play. Will I not get protection as a player? They rather protect the fan here.” Jokic may also face a suspension.

Everything can also be redone in the Eastern Conference in the game between Philadelphia 76’ers and Boston Celtics. The 76’ers won the fourth game on Sunday after overtime with 116-115. At the Wells Fargo Center, James The Beard Harden the home team on hand with 42 points, brand new MVP Joel Embiid was good for 34 points. Jayson Tatum led the Boston visitors with 24 points. Here too the score is 2-2.
