Inter Milan won 0-2 on the field of AS Roma on Saturday evening. The second goal for the Milanese was scored by Romelu Lukaku, who continues his good month of April – with hits in the league, cup and Champions League – with a new goal.
Federico Dimarco put Inter ahead after half an hour. Denzel Dumfries crossed well, Romelu Lukaku’s outstretched leg was not long enough, but Dimarco was able to work the leather against the nets.
In the second half it was price for Lukaku. After poor defending by Ibanez, Lautaro Martinz played well towards the Red Devil, who scored the 0-2 from the edge of the box. Immediately also the final score in Rome.
Due to the fourth league victory in a row, Inter is level with Juventus again. Both teams follow a point from Lazio, which is in second place. AC Milan, which won against Lazio earlier in the day, is fifth, two points behind city rivals Inter. Earlier this week, Napoli crowned itself champion for the first time in 33 years.
AS Roma is faring less well in the competition. Jose Mourinho’s team have been unable to win three games in a row and have fallen to seventh place, one that does not even qualify for the Conference League qualification.
