Leicester City and Everton shared the points on Monday on the 34th match day of the Premier League. The basement cracker at King Power Stadium ended 2-2. Both teams don’t get along much with that in the battle for preservation.

On fifteen minutes Calvert-Lewin gave Everton the lead via a penalty kick, but via Söyüncü – assisted by Faes – and Vardy, the home team turned the tables before the break. Maddison missed a penalty for Leicester deep into stoppage time and that proved fatal, as Iwobi had already made it 2-2 early in the second half.

Timothy Castagne, Wout Faes and Youri Tielemans completed the ninety minutes at Leicester. Dennis Praet came in two minutes before time. On the other side, Amadou Onana stayed on the bench for ninety minutes.

Leicester is in sixteenth place with thirty points, but Leeds (17th) and Nottingham Forest (18th and provisionally first relegation) also count thirty points. Everton are nineteenth with 29 points.
