The Spanish sports newspaper Marca writes that Rudi Garcia will be fired as coach of the Saudi Al Nassr, the club of superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. The Frenchman would have had a collision with his players.

According to the Spanish sports newspaper Marca, Rudi Garcia has been fired as coach of Al Nassr. The last straw would be a confrontation with his players in the locker room. There have been rumors for some time that the relationship between Garcia and Ronaldo would not be optimal.

In addition to the extra-sporting problems, Rudi García did not live up to the sky-high sporting expectations. With seven games to play, Al Nassr is second in the standings, three points behind Al Ittihad, to which it recently lost.

Al Nassr drew 0-0 against Al Feiha last weekend and Cristiano Ronaldo hated it. He stormed off the field after the end and clamored for opponents whom he accused of wasting time. He also scoffed at them during the match: “You don’t want to play football…”

Rudi Garcia arrived at Al Nassr last summer as a replacement for Miguel Angel Russo.
