Eden Hazard has been nominated for the Premier League Hall of Fame. The former Chelsea star was included on Monday in a list of fifteen legends from the English league who have a chance of a place in the prestigious hall of fame.

Hazard played for Chelsea between 2012 and 2019. He won the title twice with the Londoners and was named Premier League Player of the Year in the 2014-2015 season. In total, the dribbler was good for 85 goals in 245 PL games for the Blues.

In addition to Hazard, his former teammates John Terry and Cesc Fabregas have also been nominated. They are up against big names such as Gary Neville, Robbie Fowler, Michael Owen, David Silva, Yaya Touré and Edwin van der Sar.

It is the fans who can determine in a vote until Monday, April 8, which two players from the list of fifteen will be included in the Hall of Fame. Their names will be announced two weeks later, on April 22.

The Hall of Fame was established in 2021 and is reserved exclusively for the biggest names in the history of the Premier League, which started in 1992. Today the Hall of Fame consists of 22 legends, twenty players and also former managers Alex Ferguson and Arsène Wenger. Vincent Kompany, the former Manchester City captain, was elected in 2022 and is so far the only Belgian in the select group. On Monday, former left back Ashley Cole (ex-Chelsea and Arsenal) was added as the first of the year 2024.
