Inter and trainer Simone Inzaghi continue to set their sights on Romelu Lukaku: “I fought so hard to get him back and we want to do that again this year”

Coach Simone Inzaghi spoke about ‘Big Rom’ at his press conference on Wednesday. He confirmed Inter’s intentions: “I totally agree with the club’s board to bring Lukaku back. It is normal that it is a difficult market. Lukaku is owned by another team, but we know what he stands for and have seen him grow in the second half of last season. I fought so hard to bring him back and we want to do that again this year.”

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the gap between what Chelsea is asking for (40 million euros) and what Inter is willing to give (30 million euros plus bonuses) is getting smaller and smaller. To be continued.
