Stade Reims has a very young head coach with 31-year-old Belgian Will Still, but in the league match against Nantes there was an even younger coach on the sidelines: 26-year-old Nicolas Still. As an assistant coach, he had to step in due to the suspension of his older brother. With success, because Reims won 1-0. Reims has been unbeaten for eighteen games, the longest streak in Europe.

It was an old acquaintance who gave Reims the victory against Nantes: after 75 minutes, ex-Genk player Junya Ito scored.

Thomas Foket started in the starting line-up for Reims and was brought in for Maxime Busi after 66 minutes. Thibault De Smet was also allowed to come in.

Stade Reims had a fantastic start to the season and is in fourth place after eleven games with 20 points. Nantes is currently eighth with 14 points.

Still in France, Matz Sels did not get further than a 0-0 draw with Strasbourg against Clermont Foot, where Maximiliano Caufriez was on the bench for the entire match. Strasbourg is currently twelfth in Ligue 1 with 12 points. Clermont Foot is only seventeenth with 6 points.
