Los Angeles Clippers spearhead Paul George has sustained a right knee injury and will be out for two to three weeks. The California NBA club announced this on Wednesday.

George was injured during the Clippers’ 101-100 loss to Oklahoma City and will likely be out for the rest of the regular season. The 32-year-old point guard, who already played eight times in the All-Star Game, went down after a hit by Oklahoma Canadian player Luguentz Dort. George had to be supported back to the dressing room.
George, Olympic champion in Rio with Team USA, averaged 23.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game this season. His absence is a blow to the Clippers, who are fifth in the Western Conference, a spot that guarantees playoff qualification, with nine games left in the regular season.
