Roeselare Triumphs in Menen to Seize Top Spot in Lotto Volley League Play-offs

Roeselare won 1-3 at Menen on Wednesday evening on the third day of the play-offs in the Lotto Volley League. The set scores were 21/25, 16/25, 25/20 and 21/25.

Seppe Rotty was the star for the visitors with seventeen points.

Thanks to the victory, Roeselare, the defending champion, takes the lead in the rankings again with 12 points. That is one more than Maaseik. This is followed by Aalst (10 points), Leuven (7 points), Menen (2 points) and Borgworm (0 points).

Champions League volley – Trentino and Jastrzebski are in pole for the final

Italy's Trentino and Poland's Jastrzebski won their first leg in the semi-finals of the Champions League volley on Wednesday.

Trentino, with Wout D'Heer, defeated the Italian Civitanova 3-1. The set scores were 25-17, 16-25, 25-18 and 25-23.

Jastrzebski, a finalist last year, beat the Turkish Ziraat Bank Ankara 3-0 (25-13, 25-18 and 30-28).

The return matches will be played next week.
