Atlético Madrid and scoring Yannick Carrasco easily put Valencia aside

Atlético Madrid easily beat Valencia in La Liga on Saturday evening. The number three of the Spanish league won 3-0. Yannick Carrasco also scored his goal: the Red Devil made it 2-0 shortly after the break, after Antoine Griezmann had already scored in the first half. Lemar recorded the final score moments later.

Atlético remain third in La Liga, 5 points behind Real Madrid and 14 behind leaders Barcelona. The two clubs will play against each other on Sunday. Valencia is in seventeenth place and can end up in the relegation zone on Sunday evening if Getafe does not lose to Sevilla.
