These are busy times for Jelle Schelstraete (33). As Operational Director Football of the football association, he was in the front row after the departure of Roberto Martinez in the search for a new national coach and a new technical director. In the meantime he himself went from Martinez’s right hand to Frank Vercauteren’s counterpart. “We received more than 1000 CVs. Fortunately, we had provided a separate mailbox,” he laughs.
