Thomas Meunier is not on the list of players that Borussia Dortmund submitted to UEFA for the group stage of the Champions League this season. The right back is sidetracked by German vice-champion and coach Erdin Terzic. Julien Duranville belongs to the European list of the Boruses.

The 62-time Red Devil, who celebrated his 32nd birthday on Tuesday, has not yet played for Dortmund this season. He still has a contract there until the end of the season. Last season, partly due to injuries, he only played sixteen games in all competitions. After New Year he only played twice more.

Meunier was not called up for the Red Devils by national coach Domenico Tedesco in the past two international matches. His last international match dates back to the World Cup in Qatar, in the last group match against Croatia (0-0).

Dortmund will meet Paris Saint-Germain, Meunier’s ex-club, AC Milan and Newcastle United in group F of the Champions League in the following weeks.

Europa League winner Sevilla also has no place for Adnan Januzaj in the upcoming group stage of the Champions League. New acquisition Dodi Lukebakio is on the European list of the Andalusians. Sevilla will meet Arsenal, PSV and Racing Lens in group B.
