Get rid of those unwieldy shin guards: Zeno Debast and co will now play with Belgian shin pads… from the Formula 1 world

Anderlecht held an open training for about 1000 fans. Striking: hardly anyone wore shin guards. Football players don’t like bulky plastic shin guards, but there is a solution for that. The Belgian company Batoco now makes thin but hard shin guards from material that is also used for Formula 1 helmets. Zeno Debast, Teddy Teuma and Casper Nielsen, among others, already use it in matches.
