Gratitude and presence are often a rarity, especially in the world of King Football. But it must remain fun. Just ask Jerko Tipuric. The Croat, who still lives in Bruges, is and remains grateful for what football gave him and how it enriched his life in all areas. Years ago he was willing to give something back to the sport that gave him so much and so the ex-professional footballer of Hajduk Split, Beerschot and of course Cercle Brugge became a youth referee after being a football coach. KFC Damme chairman Vincent Goemaere, another ex-Cerclist, makes no secret of his admiration.
