Boston could count on 27 points from Jaylen Brown and 20 points from Jayson Tatum, but that was not enough to hold off Phoenix. The Suns triumphed thanks to 25 points from Mikal Bridges. Despite the loss, Boston still leads the East with 37 wins against 16 losses.

Detroit also defeated the Charlotte Hornets 118-112. Indiana beat Sacramento (107-104), Portland was too strong for Washington (116-124). Toronto beat Houston thanks to 32 points from Fred VanVleet (111-117) and Atlanta was the better of Utah in Salt Lake City (108-115).

Yet all this was in the shadow of the match between Orlando Magic and Minnesota Timberwolves. The Magic won 120-127, but everyone remembers the fight between some players like Mo Bamba and Austin Rivers. After some wrestling on the ground, five players were eventually ruled out.
