The Value of Belgian Players in the Premier League: Tielemans’ Worth Soars, While Lavia and Trésor Struggle

The market values of some Belgians in the Premier League have been upgraded. Two midfielders are seeing their value increase, but there are also Devils who are declining. This is evident from figures from the specialized website Transfermarkt.be.

Today, 15 Belgians are still active in the English Premier League. Only four of them recently received a market value update. Most compatriots therefore remained stable, including Jérémy Doku and Kevin De Bruyne. The two Devils at Manchester City still record the highest values with 65 and 60 million euros respectively. In third place is Onana, who remains at 50 million euros.

They put themselves in the spotlight

For a long time, Youri Tielemans (26) was a shadow of himself. But his move to Aston Villa last summer changed that. The 67-time Red Devil proved his good form yesterday with two goals in the iconic Wembley. His market value increases from 20 to 25 million euros. He is still far from his top market value at Leicester, 55 million euros.

There is also another Belgian doing well at the bottom of the rankings. Albert Sambi Lokonga (24) moved to Luton Town on loan at the start of the season. Many football fans were skeptical about that choice. But he grew into a basic player and saw his value increase from 12 to 15 million euros. This makes him the most valuable player on his team.
