Paul Onuachu’s transfer to Premier League club Southampton is complete. The transfer fee could even exceed the requested 20 million euros.

After other options fell away one by one, Southampton put everything on the arrival of Paul Onuachu. While the player waited pacingly in the Cegeka Arena, KRC Genk kept its leg stiff for a long time. Until the Premier League club made an offer in the late afternoon, which Genk could not refuse. Especially since the club Onuachu had made the promise in recent mercatos that he would be able to fulfill his English dream for such a sum.
The final transfer fee, including bonuses, could even exceed the requested 20 million euros. Because Onuachu will be 29 years old in a few months, the focus was on a high transfer fee and there is no question of a percentage for resale.
