The Belgian football enthusiast got to know the Dutch winger in the 2018-2019 season. Danjuma was the revelation at Club Brugge that season, with six goals and four assists in 25 games. Blauw-zwart then sold him to Premier League club Bournemouth. In August 2021, a transfer to the Spanish sub-topper Villarreal followed. There he scored 22 goals in 51 matches in the past year and a half.
The six-time Dutch international has to help Tottenham in its fight for a Champions League ticket. The London club is currently fifth in the Premier League, with 36 points. Number four Manchester United, which has the last ticket for the championship ball, has three points more. League-leader Arsenal has a fourteen-point lead over city rivals.
