During his time at Real Madrid, big earner Bale was accused of spending too much time with golf and too little football in his last contract years. That story escalated when, after an international win with Wales, he posed with a fan’s banner reading ‘Wales. Golf. Madrid’ stood.
His lucrative contract with Real Madrid expired last year, after which he played for Los Angeles FC and with the national team at the World Cup before putting an end to his career. Since then he is said to have completely devoted himself to golf. According to British media, the Welsh Football Association has already asked him for a position. With 21 trophies, Bale was one of the best British players ever.
