Our journalists are unanimous: Simon Mignolet wins with a straight lead, but tension for places two and three

The only question: who will be second to Simon Mignolet? — © BELGIUM

Who comes second? That is the question that the football journalists of our editorial team ask. Just like trainers, former Golden Shoe winners and prominent figures from the football association, our football reporters are among those entitled to vote for the Golden Shoe. When adding up our votes, we arrive at a crushing victory for Simon Mignolet (34). We dug up our forms for the first (January-June) and second voting round (July-December) once again. The first in each round of voting receives three points, the second two and the third one. When all the votes are counted, the Club goalkeeper will take a shot at the biggest lead ever.
