VIDEO. Scoring a selfie has never been so difficult: a fan wants to take a photo with Tottenham star Son, but that goes wrong

Football fans are often willing to pay a lot to have their picture taken with their favorite player. For South Koreans, Heung-min Son is considered one of the national heroes, but taking a selfie with the Tottenham striker recently did not go smoothly for a female fan.

These days the international break takes Son with the South Korean team not far from his ‘home base’ London. Last Thursday a friendly match was played against Wales (0-0) in Cardiff, and a second match will follow on Tuesday evening in Newcastle against Saudi Arabia.

When the Asians set course for Newcastle, the Tottenham attacker was happy to make time for some fans. This also applies to a female fan, who gave her iPhone to Son for a selfie. Any problem? The modest South Korean has been an ambassador for Samsung since July and is not allowed to come into contact with a device from a competing brand due to his sponsorship contract. The woman had to hold her iPhone herself or the photo had to be taken with a Samsung.
