Sometimes sport is just an afterthought. Cambuur and Emmen are involved in a fierce relegation battle in the Eredivisie, but following the death of a 14-year-old daughter of an Emmen supporter, Cambuur fans put aside their rival feelings. In the fourteenth minute they threw hundreds of teddy bears from the box as a tribute to the deceased Shania. The game had to be stopped for a while to clear the field, but that happened to loud applause from the home supporters, who showed their appreciation for the catchy gesture.
