What was already known earlier is now also official: Noah Mbamba is leaving Club Brugge for Bayer Leverkusen. The eighteen-year-old midfielder, who would be out of contract with blue-black in the summer, refused to sign due to a lack of playing time. This season he mainly had to settle for minutes at Club NXT in the Challenger Pro League.

Club Brugge has found a deal with the German top club, with which it maintains good relations, so that Mbamba does not leave the door for free and blue-black earns another (of course limited) sum. German sources report that it is about 100,000 euros.

He made a total of 25 appearances in the Bruges main force. In Germany he is looking for more playing opportunities. Earlier this year, Leverkusen was against Club in the group stage of the Champions League. Mbamba signed a contract until the end of June 2028.
