Loïs Openda and Lens narrow the gap with PSG after a narrow victory against low flyer Auxerre

RC Lens won 1-0 at home against relegation candidate Auxerre on Saturday. Loïs Openda’s team narrows the gap with leader Paris Saint-Germain to three points for the time being. The Parisians will still be in action on Sunday.

Przemyslaw Frankowski was crowned match winner with the only goal of the confrontation from eleven meters. Loïs Openda got a starting place in the winning camp and was relieved halfway through the second half.

Lens is well second in the Ligue 1 standings with 44 points.
