The chance that Ferran Jutgla will play against Anderlecht on Sunday is tiny. But on Saturday, the Spanish striker will undergo an ultimate test in training. Then the knot is finally cut.

Jutgla suffered a knee injury during a training session this week, so the chances of him playing against Anderlecht on Sunday are slim. “For Ferran, that match will probably come too soon,” Scott Parker said on Thursday. However, his injury is not serious. In fact, Jutgla will undergo an ultimate test on Saturday to see how his knee is doing. After that, the decision regarding a possible selection will be made definitively.

Everyone else is fit at Club Brugge, although Parker must of course replace the suspended Sylla. He was sent off in Genk. Boyata is an option, but he barely has minus on the counter. Mata and Odoi can also play in defense. Let’s wait and see what choice Parker makes against the Purple & White. By the way, Jan Breydel – including the branch that is populated by Club supporters – is almost sold out.
