Visiting ‘De Afspraak’ on Thursday: Olivier Deschacht. The icon of Anderlecht was allowed to come and explain the crisis at Purple & White. His message: firing Vincent Kompany after last season’s lost cup final was the wrong decision.

In the meantime, Kompany was voted Manager of the Month in The Championship, where he takes the lead with Burnley after a tough month. “The biggest danger to the way we play, with a lot of possession, is that we become less sharp,” he said of that series. “But this club has always played hard, with passion. And I want to keep that.”
