The team from Massachusetts owed its 30th win of the season (in 42 games) to stars Jaylen Brown (41 points, 12 rebounds) and Jayson Tatum (31 points, 10 rebounds). In the visitors, third in the Western Conference, CJ McCollum excelled with 38 points.

The Milwaukee Bucks, third in the east behind Boston and Brooklyn, won 105-114 against the Atlanta Hawks. Jrue Holiday was the top scorer with 27 points. Greek star player Giannis Antetokounmpo got stuck on 7 points, but grabbed 18 rebounds and handed out 10 assists.

At the top of the Western Conference, the Denver Nuggets and the Memphis Grizzlies continue to lead the rankings side-by-side. Both teams recorded their 28th win in 41 games on Wednesday.

Denver, led by Nikola Jokic, the two-time and reigning MVP, won 126-97 against the Phoenix Suns. Jokic finished with 21 points, 18 rebounds and 9 assists, just short of a triple-double. Memphis was 135-129 too strong for the San Antonio Spurs. Yes Morant ended the game with 38 points and a top opinion behind his name.
