In recent weeks, a lot of CVs have been received by the Belgian Football Association. The position of national coach of the Red Devils is therefore highly sought after. But Hervé Renard’s candidacy is not one of them, according to Hervé Renard himself.

The Frenchman stunted at the last World Cup with Saudi Arabia against the later world champion Argentina. In the group stage it became 2-1, but the second round was not made. Renard is still under contract in the oil state – where he has been working for three years – but he says he could get out of it.
But Renard tweeted on Thursday: “The news suggesting that I applied to coach the Belgian national team is completely false.”
